Comedian Hannington Bugingo has defended fellow comedians of Binzonto crew about their skit on Democratic Party President Nobert Mao.
Mao confirmed on Tuesday via his official Twitter account that he had filed a formal complaint with Police against the comedy group for threatening his life
While appearing on NBS TV on Wednesday, Bugingo said that Mao himself is known for using abusive language both on his social media accounts
“Mao himself has abused many people like the likes of Erias Lukwago and Betty Nambooze but they have never reported him to Police or even filed cases in courts of law.
“Mao should know that no human being has the audacity to tell you what to say, so Bizonto have no case according to me.” Let him face the fire like, he does it to others.”
Said Bugingo.
Bugingo is the managing director of Fun Factory Uganda and also the founding President of the Uganda Comedians Association.
