In an exclusive interview run on YouTube channel Extra digest mugobansonga, the former CBS marketing manager said that as an upcoming artist, the NUP boss once told him that he had a dream to one day build a kalina and be able ease himself from the top.
‘I met Bobi through his brother Eddy Yawe who recommended and asked me to push and support him. At the time he had just put out Akagoma his first song.
I managed to help him and push his song on CBS fm. We later became very good friends. One day he called me and told me that he had bought some land and wanted to show it to me. We drove to Magere and i saw the land.
It was a very remote area but Bobi was dreaming big. It’s here that he told me that he wanted to be different from other artists before him, he said his dream was to build a Kalina and fulfill his dream of making susu from the top.
Kagolo also revealed that he sold Bobi Wine his very first car a Toyota Soarer and it’s the very car in which the NUP principal learnt how to drive.
The extreme arts studio CEO also intimated of how he was heavily involved in the recruitment of big radio personalities such as Abbey Mukiibi, Kato Lubwama and Meddie Nsereko at the Bulange radio station.
At the time of writing this piece, Ugolemwa could not ascertain whether the principal fulfilled his dream but one thing is for sure, the man built the Kalina.
