Radio Hot 100FM announces closure after 20 years

Radio Hot 100 FM has informed its clients and fans that the radio will not continue operation in the broadcasting business.

The now former Bukoto based radio made it official in a statement issued over the weekend that they have called it quits after a service of 20 years.

” Therefore, with effect from 11th March 2022, we will discontinue our official broadcasts as HOT1OO on the frequency 100.9 MHz.”

” To our advertisers, our team will be reaching out to you, to ensure that all reconciliations and contractual obligations are concluded, hassle-free.”

“We do thank you all for your support through the years, and for the confidence you placed in HOT1OO.”

The management however pledged to continue using other platforms like social media to increase engagement and value.

Over the years, the radio has maintained a legacy of entertaining Ugandans especially the young with a fresh mix of urban hip music, entertainment and news.

The radio station will always be remembered for its great contribution towards Uganda’s entertainment industry.
