Honourable Jacob Lokoli Oulanya has this afternoon been pronounced dead by his boss President Yoweri Museveni.
Rumours have been making rounds on social media that he had even died earlier but confirmation has been made today.

He was elected speaker last year and has unfortunately not served for even a term .
He will be strongly remembered for chairing the parliamentary session that passed the removal of term limits that allowed Museveni run again in 2006 and also was the man in chair when the famous removal of age limits were passed.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that Oulanya has been battling cancer of the intestines among other ailments.
He has been bed ridden at Mulago hospital for more than a a month until early this March that he was flown to America for more specialized treatment where he breathed his last.
He has died at the age of 56
