Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Hon.Zaake Francis Butebi has revealed that he has received a phone call from someone threatening to kill him soon.
Zaake confirmed the development via his official Facebook account on Thursday evening
“Today afternoon while climbing the stair into the Parliamentary building, I got a phone call from a hidden number. On answering it, a male voice on the other end threatened to kill me anytime soon and therefore hangup before I could say anything.”
Zaake also stated that he made a complaint to Police but he hasn’t gotten help.
“I have tried making a complaint to Police but haven’t gotten help. Let’s be vigilant.” Said Zaake
Earlier this month, Zaake was removed from the position of parliament commissioner after a secret ballot that was conducted out of 161 MPs, 155 voted for his removal while only four were against it.
Zaake with his lawyers led by his lawyers of Lukwago and company advocates dragged government to court for removing him from the position of as a Commissioner of Parliament.
