Burna Boy joined international
acts such as Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Adele, Rihanna, Jayz, Justin Biieber and Mariah Carey as the only artists that have sold out the Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Grammy award winner who had already sold out other venues on his European tour such as the 20,300 capacity Accor Atena in Paris, the 13,000 capacity 3Arena in Ireland and the 9,500 capacity Geneva Arena in Switzerland finally made it at the most famous Arenas of them all, The 20,789 capacity Madison Square Garden.
The concert was held end of April on Thursday 28th 2022. Burna Boy entertained his fans with non stop hits performing live with his band the Outsiders.
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy is now the only African artist who has put up a one man show at the MSG in New York.
Senegalese icon and fellow Grammy award winner Youssou N’Dour who Burna Boy has collaborated with on Level up introduced him on stage to kick start the 2hours plus of none stop hits from the Nigerian superstar.
The on the low hit maker also took off a minute to announce when his highly anticipated new album will drop. The Album called LOVE DAMINI drops 2nd July 2022 on his birthday.
