Andrew Kabuura who recently crossed over from NTV to rival station NBS like the website reported was the brain child of the weekly show NTV Pressbox.
Not only was Kabuura the brain child but he also holds the patent rights to the name Pressbox.
On crossing over to the Naguru based NBS tv, his former employers at NTV planed to continue using the NTV Pressbox name and had started advertising the new show.
When Kabuura caught wind of developments at Kampala Serena he swung into action.
Through his lawyers at AKN advocates wrote to the Managing Director Nation Media group notifying them to stop and desist from using the name Pressbox in the airing of any program.
It’s at this point that NMG realized that the Kiyine thupu man was not playing games and they quickly came up with a new name I.e NTVSportKnights.
NTVSportKnights will run on Monday at 10pm and will have the trio of Andrew Mwanguhya, Ismail Dhakaba and new entrant Patrick Kanyomozi as the host.
