Robert Lewandowski has told reporters in Warsaw that his career at Germany Giants Bayern Munich has come to an end.

“Today it is certain that my story with Bayern has come to an end… I can’t imagine further cooperation, after what has happened over the last few months. A transfer will be the best solution. I trust that Bayern won’t stop me, just because they can,” Said the Polish striker

Spanish side FC Barcelona are strongly linked with signing the forward who only has a year left on his contract at Bayern.

Lewandowski has spent the majority of his career in Germany after joining Borussia Dortmund from Lech Poznan in 2010

The 33-year-old has been with the German champions since 2014 and has scored 343 goals for the club in all competitions.

The striker won the Bundesliga’s top scorer for the fifth season in succession. He also has eight Bundesliga titles with the Bavarians.
