Uganda Cranes winger Abdul Lumala has revealed that he was raised by a single grandmother and he has never seen his biological parents.

Lumala narrated his story on his official Facebook page,

“Wow, it’s what a journey have been through being raised by a single grandmother RIP wasn’t a easy task for her, having troubles with school fees being so stubborn, being segregated in society.”

“She always fought hard for me, she love me more than anyone. She just wanted to see me one day successful which is my goal. I am so thankful for her my guardian angel. My mother left me when I was 4 months to my grandmother, untile today have never seen Daddy nor mum. It’s abit disturbing but am strong, sometimes like anyone else we gave our flows but with time we grow and learn. I know I will be a great daddy one day because I love kids.”

Lumala represented Uganda at the 2019 AFCON finals held in Egypt and played all the Cranes games at the showpiece.

The winger is currently a free agent and is being linked with a move to Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC.
