Manzoki arrives in Tanzania to complete Simba move

Vipers SC forward Cesar Lobi Manzoki has arrived in Tanzania to complete his move to Simba SC.

The Central African Republic striker departed Uganda on Monday to seal his move to the Tanzanian outfit.

Last season, Manzoki scored 18 league goals and provided 8 assists as the Venoms won their fifth Uganda Premier league title.

Manzoki also posted a farewell message on his Twitter account

During the 2020/21 season, Manzoki led the Vipers to the Stanbic Uganda Cup where he emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with 7 goals.

Manzoki turned down Vipers’ had offer of $30,000 in January this year.

Sudanese giants El Merrikh and Al Hilal were also interested in the forward’s signature.

Earlier this year, Manzoki switched his allegiance from his birth country DR Congo to Central African Republic. He had played three times for Congo National team in 2016 at the COSAFA Cup that was held in Windhoek, Namibia.

He has previously played for AS Dauphin Noir, Union Maniema and AS Vita in his native country before joining Vipers in 2020 on a two year employment contract.

Manzoki was named the Uganda Premier league player of season, Player’s player of the season, forward of the season at the UPL awards that were held earlier this month.
