Four time Presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye said that Democratic Party President Nobert Mao needs to be congratulated for arriving.
On Wednesday, July 20th Mao signed a cooperation agreement with NRM and the development was confirmed by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on his social media accounts
“Hon Mao needs to be “ congratulated” for ARRIVING after “a long journey” and for the “unprecedented step” taken- using his own words! Hon. Baryomunsi now has good company.” Dr Besigye wrote on his Twitter account.
Meanwhile National Unity Platform Spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi says that the cohabiting between Mao and NRM has ended

Just a day after the cooperation agreement, President Museveni has appointed Mao as Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
