Uganda Olympic Committee President Donald Rukare says that only Sophia Namutebi alias Mama Fina can help them identify those with intensions of disappearing in Birmingham.
The Uganda Contingent for the Commonwealth Games is already in Birmingham
“When a team travels to countries such as England, some of our athletes see it as an opportunity to disappear. We always try our level best to stop such incidents, maybe Mama Fina can help us identify those with intentions of disappearing.” Said Rukare
The Commonwealth Games will officially kickoff on Thursday, 28th and will run until 8th August.
Uganda will be represented in 11 sports disciplines at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games which are Squash, netball, Weightlifting, rugby, swimming, para-swimming, Table Tennis, Badminton, Wrestling, Cycling, Boxing and Athletics.
