Midfielder Yasser Mugerwa has released a statement on his personal Facebook account announcing that he has agreed to leave KCCA FC.

On 6th-July KCCA included him on the list of eight players that had been released by Morley Byekwaso’s coached side but the player refused to succumb to the development insisting that he hadn’t received any communication from the club and that he had a running contract.

The midfielder was not happy with the club letting him go yet he still demanded part of his sign on fees.

“Today I say goodbye to KCCA FC but I take with me many lessons that will live with me forever. I can only say thank you to the club, to the fans have supported me since the first day I wore this jersey and if course thank you and good luck to my team-mates (the educated one).”

Mugerwa joined the Lugogo based side at the start of the 2021/22 Season and signed a contract of two years.
