Former Lubaga South MP Paul Kato Lubwama has revealed that he didn’t attend Gen.Elly Tumwine’s burial at Kazo because the late never attended burial ceremonies.
“I didn’t go to Gen. Tumwine’s burial because he has never attended anyone for my people. So why would I go for his burial.” He told CBS Emanduso
Kato however stated that the art industry is going to miss him
“He had some songs and if anyone does something related to art we praise that person. So the art industry is going to miss him and may his soul rest in external peace.” Said Kato
Gen.Tumwine was pronounced dead last week on Thursday and has been laid to rest at Kazo.
Gen.Tumwine is credited for having fired the first bullet that launched the five year bush war that ushered the current National Resistance Army/ Movement into power.
