Doreen Nabulime shocked Ugandans when she mercilessly beat up her own two year old baby in a circulating video on social media.
The 22 year old mother resident of Busula in Wobulenzi, Luweero was arrested by police and will be produced in court on Monday.
While everyone would be wondering what a two year old baby could have done to receive such a rough and disgusting beating from her own mother, the mother has said she was driven by excessive anger.
” Bwabadde busungu” Nabulime says in the most recent video, loosely translating It was extreme anger that pushed me into the appalling action.
These were Nabulime’s first words while under the police custody.
It is reportedly understood that Nabulime’s husband is a painter in Wobulenzi while her father trades in a back cloth selling business in the same region.
The two year old toddler identified as Gift, is Nabulime’s last born and it has also been revealed that she is a mother of three.
