The Football Association earlier today gave a go-ahead of the Premier league to resume this weekend. Games were postponed last weekend following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
However two games have been postponed Manchester United’s home game against Leeds and the mouthwatering contest between Chelsea and Liverpool have been postponed.
The two games were scheduled for Sunday, 18th but will no longer go ahead since the Police will be supporting forces across the United Kingdom at locations and events of high significance following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Meanwhile, Everton’s game against West Ham has been pushed back 15 minutes to kick off.
The Championship will restart on Tuesday after the pause over the weekend.
