Bbaale County Member of Parliament Charles Tebandeke gifted 21 newlywed couples with hoes.
The couples were gifted with hoes at the Mass held at St.Matia Mulumba on Sunday.
“I have brought you hoes so that you go and grow crops because when you have food in your homes you will not cry of poverty so much.”
“The hoe does not deceive. Go and use these hoes to fight poverty in your homes.” Said Tebandeke as quoted by Daily Monitor
On the same day, the parish marked it’s 25th anniversary.
Lugazi Diocesan bishop Christopher Kakooza was the main celebrant who urged the couples to remain faithful and trust in God.
