National Unity Platform Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine says that Boxing is now controlled by President Museveni’s government.
Bobi Wine who was attending the End of year Boxing fight that was organized by promoter Ali Mawale at Sky Hotel Sandton in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“Many boxers were arrested by Museveni’s government because of their call for change.” Zebra Mando was murdered while boxers such as Mudde Ntambi and Joy Vergas Lubega among others were arrested for several months since they wanted to intimidate Boxers to stop fighting for change.”
“Boxing is not the same nowadays in Uganda since it’s controlled by President Museveni’s government.”
He also hailed Boxers in Uganda for always standing for the true
“Boxers are so special in the country and I salute them for always standing for the true and I urge them to continue fighting for change in the country.” Said Bobi Wine.
