A 10 year old boy takes care of his other two siblings after parents abandon them in Luweero.
During an interview with BBS Terefayina, the three kids revealed that they lack funds to go to school and find life difficult since they lack even what to eat.
Their parents Deo Mayanja and Daisy Nakubulwa both disappeared and left them in a small house located in Luweero.
The 10 year old Eliajah Mutebi reveals that life is difficult for them
“Our father brought us here but later left, he doesn’t send us money for food and other requirements. The burden is on me to look for food my little brothers.” We would want to go to school like any other child but we also lack what to eat.
Edward Kibwami the chairman of Kasiiso Village, has called upon the parents to return and take care of their children
“There mother was the first to leave before their father left them in the small house. These kids should be schooling and also need that parental love. The father and mother should return and give their kids support. I also call upon organisations and everyone who can help them to do the needful.” Said Kibwami.
Samuel Muwanguzi is the only resident who does help the kids sometimes but also stated he cannot handle the mantle alone.
