Uganda Cranes have been drawn in a tough Group of the 2022 CHAN tournament that will be staged in Algeria next year.
Uganda will face DR Congo, Ivory Coast and Senegal in Group B of the competition.
The Cranes are taking part in the competition for the sixth time.
Congo are two time winners of the competition in 2009 and 2016 whereas Ivory Coast finished third at the 2016 edition.
The Senegalese had their best ever finish in the championship at the 2009 edition when they finished fourth.
The tournament will begin on 23rd January and climax on 4th February in Algeria.
