The Lord Mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwago has on Thursday morning told journalists that he is very ill and it will take him sometime to have interviews.
Despite his illness, Lukwago attended the KCCA launch of their partnership with Strasbourg City at Kitante primarily School.
Lukwago revealed to the Journalists that his doctors had even refused him to attend the function due to his condition. The Journalists were asking him about Uganda’s 60 years of independence
“I can’t fulfill what you want in this condition that am in, though I have come here, my doctor’s had refused me to attend this function since I am very sick and not feeling well. I can’t promise that I will have time for you this month.” Lukwago told reporters
Last year in April, Lukwago was rushed to Nairobi for treatment after developing complications.
In 2020, Lukwago received treatment at Nairobi hospital after detection of acute anaphylaxis, an allergic reaction to some foods, insects, stings and medicine.
