TP Mazembe have part ways with their head coach Franck Dumas hours after their defeat to Vipers SC in the final round of the CAF Champions league Qualification.
The club confirmed the development in statement released on Saturday,
“President Moise Katumbi and coach Franck Dumas have parted ways in a friendly manner. The President thanked the coach for the work done and wished him a safe journey. Mr. Franck Dumas, on his part expressed his wishes of full success to TP Mazembe and his supporters.”
“President Moise Katumbi has taken the decision to suspend the committe with immediate effect, with the exception of Team Secretary, Mr. Hilaire Kabila who remains in office.” Read a statement
The five time winners CAF Champions league winners were eliminated by Vipers 4-2 on penalties after a goalless stalemate at Lubumbashi on Saturday.
