URA FC head coach Sam Timbe escaped being beaten by angry club fans following a 2-2 draw with Soltilo Bright Stars on Wednesday at Nakisunga playground.


The tax collectors threw away a two goal lead against Bright Stars.

James Begisa and George Ssenkaaba had given the tax collectors a comfortable 2-0 lead before Nelson Senkatuka and Emmanuel Loki struck for the visitors in the second half.

After the match angry URA FC fans wanted to beat Timbe before he was helped out of the stadium. Timbe was however ready to rumble against the fans who wanted to beat him up.

URA are now on six points having drawn three, won once and lost once in the five games they have played so far this season.

Bright Stars are unbeaten this campaign and are winless in their opening five games.
