Deschamps names France World Cup Squad

France head coach Didier Deschamps has named the 26 man squad to feature at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The squad comprises of Injured duo of Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane while Antony Matial misses out.

France will not be without Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kante through respective injuries as they aim to retain the World title.

Deschamps men who beat Croatia 4-2 in the final of the 2018 edition will be looking to make history as only the third nation to win back-to-back World Cup titles.

They will begin their title defence on 22 November against Australia in Group D, which also includes Denmark and Tunisia.
