Police in Nansana have arrested four suspects on allegations of murder at Nyege Nyege style bar in Nabweru, Wakiso district.
There was a scuffle at the bar that resulted into the death of a male adult was suspected to have been hit with a blunt object on the head and succumbed to injuries.
The body of the deceased, a male adult yet to be identified was founded on Thursday morning lying in the trench along Dick Kawesi road at Nabweru south cell 1, and approximately 100 meters away from the bar.
Patrick Onyango, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson asserts that the deceased is might have been pulled from the bar and dumped in the trench
“It’s further revealed that the fight started with Regean and Ssekango who are suspected to have hit the deceased with a blunt object on the head.”
“There were some blood drops from the bar up to the road.” Said Onyango
The deceased is a male adult aged approximately 23 years not known by the locals of the area.
Onyango confirmed that the four suspects have been arrested and detained at Lubigi police post and the body was picked and taken to City mortuary pending postmortem.
