FUFA’s Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has suspended referee John Bosco Kalibbala for 15 years after being found guilty of match fixing.

Kalibbala is not banned from taking part in any footballing activities after breaching the football ethics.

He received money to manipulate the match results for the Uganda Premier League encounter between Tooro United and UPDF FC that was played on 30th November.

He thereafter got financial gain to manipulate the result between Gaddafi FC and Onduparaka FC on December 21st.

FUFA initially suspended him for three months early this year as investigations got underway.

Match fixing and hooliganism have proved to be one of the major persistent issues Ugandan football is facing.

Some clubs don’t pay salaries of their players but that’s an issue for another day. Ugandan Football Olemwa!
