Busoga United fined for failure to provide ambulance

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has fined Busoga United for breach of article 15 of the FUFA Competitions Rules and article 16 of the Uganda Premier League rules.

The Jinja based side failed to provide an ambulance in their 1-0 defeat to Maroons in the Uganda Premier league contest.

Maroons player Sula Mpanga was seriously injured and rushed to hospital by the CEO Muhumuza.

“The team failed to make available an ambulance during the course of the match.”

“The CDP hereby sanctions Busoga United FC with a fine of UGX 1,000,000 (Uganda shillings one million) to be paid immediately upon receipt of this decision.”

“Busoga United is further implored to adhere to the rules at all times so as to avoid bringing the game of football into disrepute.

This is the second time that Busoga United are fined by the Federation after their first fine in the game against Express FC due to fans protest in the 87th minute following Allan Kayiwa strike. Busoga United is second last on the UPL table with 9 nine points from 15 games
