Dr Jose Chameleone apologizes for his disturbing kiss with Weasel

There is a Luganda saying that says ‘Ku mbaga tekubula musiwuufu’ meaning that even at a wedding, you won’t fail to find a shabbily dressed person.

Everything at the Gwanga Mujje concert held last Friday was moving on smoothly without any hiccups. The sound, lighting, backups, band, mention it, were all on point.

As all this was happening with the crowd enjoying Chameleone’s timeless music hits over the years, there was a moment of madness between the Mayanja brothers Chameleone and Weasel when their lips ‘locked’

The gesture did not rub the public the right way at a time when all efforts are being put together to fight homosexual vices in the country. A number of people came out to say that the act was disturbing and was not right for two grown up men to kiss in public.

The public ‘pressure’ in seeking clarity on the intentions of the gesture from Chameleone has paid off and he apologized to the public.

In a video he put on this official social media platforms, the legendary artist thanked his fans that turned up for the show but also apologized for his madness with brother Weasel.

“My name is Joseph Chameleone Mayanja, I hope this message finds everyone very well.”

“First and foremost I want to thank my fans, my friends, and the all country for supporting legend Gwanga Mujje the long awaited concert that we enjoyed last weekend”

“I wish to use this opportunity to also apologize to my fans, friends for the deed me and Weasel shared on stage, I know most of my friends are really offended and didn’t carry it lightly, I sincerely apologize, it was just too much energy and excitement. I actually regret it”

“The energy was so high and it was just a wrong way to share it with Weasel my brother and I also apologize on behalf of him, thanks you so much for accepting my apologies” said Chameleon in a video.

Hope the public will take his apology in good faith and we won’t see any madness from the musical brothers moving forward.
