Lightning killed two players in Kenya during a friendly game at Manyansi area in Kitutu Chache North Constituency, Kisii County.
The lightning bolt wiped out the two players who were competing in the match between Manyansi FC and Gianchore FC.
Sammy Musa, 20, and Joshua Nyangaresi, 21 are the players who lost their lives at Manyansi playgrounds in Kitutu Chache North Constituency.
Each team lost a player in the incident that happened on Saturday evening.
The other players who were hurt in the incident were taken to Nyamira Teaching and Referral Hospital for further treatment.
In 1998, Lightning killed 11 members of
Basanga FC team in Congo and injured dozens more people.
