Two Rwanda buses collided head on along the Ntungamo-Kabale road in Ntungamo on Wednesday morning.
Over 20 people were seriously injured in the accident that occured at Katinda Bridge.
“I was in seat number 40 when the buses collided at once. We fell down and escaped through windows. Another woman lost two legs while the other lost a leg too.” Said one of the survivors Daniel Mawanda as quoted by Daily Monitor
No death has been registered so far with 12 badly injured. The injured ones were taken to Doctor’s Referral Hospital in Rubaare Town and others to Itojo Hospital.
Trinity Company bus from Kigali to Kampala and Volcano company heading to Kigali from Kampala collided at about 5am.
According to eye witnesses the accident was due to misty road
