Iron sheets Scandal: Minister Lugoloobi granted bail

The State Minister for planning, Amos Lugoloobi has been granted bail by the Anti-Corruption court in Kololo

Lugoloobi was arrested last Friday over Karamoja iron sheets Scandal and on Monday morning, he was arraigned before court.

He was charged with dealing with suspect property contrary to Section 21A of the Anti-Corruption Act, 2009.

The magistrate remanded the Ntenjeru North legislator to Luzira Prison saying that he needed more time to grant him bail.

Karamoja Affairs minister Mary Goretti Kitutu was the first to appear before court and detained until last Friday when she was released on a cash bail of Shs10M.

State Minister for Karamoja Affairs, Agnes Nandutu was on Wednesday charged and remanded until May, 3rd. She is also charged with dealing with suspect property contrary to section 21A of the Anti-Corruption Act, 2009.
