High court judge Margaret Mutonyi recently acquitted the third and final suspect in the murder trial of Muhammad Kirumira a one Abibakar Kalungi.

Kirumira was on the eventful evening of September 8, 2018 murdered together with his friend Resty Mbabazi at Bulenga in Wakiso district.

After the high court ruling, Kirumira’s father Mr Abubaker Kawooya said he was convinced by the high court ruling delivered but instead blamed the DPP for a poor job done.

While appearing on YouTube channel Kasuku live, Mr Kawooya also made some shocking revelations of how condolences sent to him by the president never got to him, not once but twice!

‘These people the president delegates can not fulfill what he sends them to do. Imagine a person that takes Kalamoja iron sheets can he deliver Mabugo given to him to deliver to someone?

‘The president sent some Minister with condolences but this minister did not give me anything, not even the written document’

‘I again invited the president for Kirumira’s Duwa prayers and he wasn’t able to come but he sent one of his ministers again but this Minister also did not deliver anything to me, this Minister is a Moslem just like me’

‘I want to appeal to the president to stop delegating and sending these people who never deliver what they have been given to deliver’ said Mr Kawooya.

Mr Kawooya did not mention the names of the said Minister that did not deliver the president’s Mabugo but it’s public knowledge that Gen Jeje Odongo Internal affairs minister at the time represented Government at the funeral where he received a hostile reception from the mourners.
