FUFA has banned Congolese striker Tshisungu Kankonde for 8 matches after he was found guilty of violating article 31 of the FUFA competition rules.
Kankonde punched Referee Mashood Ssali immediately after the final whistle in KCCA’s 1-0 defeat to Vipers at Kitende last week
Ssali shown the forward a red card which rules him out of KCCA’s next two fixtures and now the Federation has handed him another six matches.
The above sanction is effective immediately and shall be carried forward to the next SUPL season of 2023/2024 until the conclusion of the same.
The panel has also fined Kankonde UGX 1,000,000 and it is to be paid by completion of his entire suspension. He shall be ineligible until payment of the fine.
