The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars awards rewarded Six athletes from six sports disciplines for their astonishing performances in the month of April.
SC Villa forward Charles Bbaale bagged the football award following his superb displays in the month. He scored five goals in the five games he played for the current league leaders.
Bbaale currently has 10 league goals one short of top scorer Allan Kayiwa (Express FC)
He beat Kawempe Muslims’ Shakira Nyinagahirwa the Women’s league MVP and NEC’s Tony Kiberu to the gong.
JT Lady Jaguars Sarah Ageno clinched the best basketball player of the month. She helped her team to four wins in the Women’s league.
Ageno beat City Oil duo of Ruai Luak and Fayed Bbale to the award.
In Netball, Christine Namulumba from Prisons Netball club was named the Real star of the month of April. She managed to score 181 goals for her side in the last four games as they won the league title.
Namulumba beat Margaret Bagala (NIC) and Shadow Nassanga (KCCA) to the accolade.
