Legendary Sports Presenter and football commentator Stuart Mutebi Kiwanuka has passed on. He has been bedridden for sometime.
Stuart Mutebi’s former workmates at Star FM Phiona Pinky and Ruben Luyombo confirmed the heart breaking news to the sports fraternity
“Big brother Mutebi Stuart is no more. May God grant u janah.you have endured a lot. I still have ur audios telling me to be careful with certain pipo. Bro too much pain.”
Ruben Luyombo who worked with the deceased at Super FM also stated,
“On a sad note our senior passes on Stuart mutebi kiwanuka.”
Stuart Mutebi was one of those notable voices in the heydays of Peter Sematimba’s Super FM.
After leaving the Super FM station, he moved to the UBC-run Star FM, like his former workmates at Super, Charles Bwanika Ssensuwa and Mulindwa Muwonge (RIP), Francis Kyeyune.
Mutebi was one of the first Radio Presenters to work at CBS FM before he joined Super FM. The Veteran Journalist also worked at NBS TV.
He has inspired many Ugandan sports Journalists into commentary.
