URA Football club have terminated the employment contract of midfieder Salim Abdallah.

The player is believed to have disappeared from the club activities mysteriously without a consent.

“URA FC can officially confirm that midfielder Salim Abdallah’s contract with the club has been terminated with immediate effect.”

“This is after the player going AWOL on 3rd March 2023 without official permission from the club and failure to heed to calls and emails from the club officials.” Ever since, he is yet to return to-date which amounts to breach of some articles in his contract thus termination.”

The club efforts to reach out to the player turned futile henceforth prompted the tax collectors to terminate the player’s running contract with immediate effect.

Abdallah joined the Tax Collectors on a two year contract in September 2022 as a free agent from SC Villa that was to keep him at the club until 2024.

He becomes the second player to leave the Lugazi based side after the Ronald Kigongo whose contract won’t be renewed at the end of June.

Salim Abdallah was signed by URA from Sc Villa following a stellar season at Villa park.
