Duo set to join Uganda Premier league champions Vipers

Ugandan champions Vipers SC set to sign left back Shafik Batambuze. The Venoms have also agreed terms with midfielder David Bagoole, as reported by Swift Sports Uganda.

Batambuze has been featuring for Tanzanian side Singida Big Stars.

He is expected to fill the void left by Dissan Galiwango who left the club early this month.

Batambuze has previously featured for Zambia’s Kabwe Warriors as well as Kenyan giants Gor Mahia, Tusker FC and Sofapaka.

He also played for Simba FC and SC Villa both in Uganda as well as Kenyan sides Western Stima and Muhoroni Youth and Tanzania’s now defunct Singida United.

Batambuze is expected to boost the club’s left back position which also has Isa Mubiru.

Bagoole on the other hand returns to the side he once featured for. He is expected to sign a two employment contract at Vipers.

Bagoole has previously featured for SC Villa, Busoga United, Police FC, Bazaar Holdings and Busembatia Town Council. He also had stints in Seychelles with La Passe FC, DR Congo with CD Bukavu Dawa and Sofapaka of Kenya.
