Vipers announce Brazilian striker as first signing of the season

In their pursuit of continental glory, Vipers have signed experienced Brazilian striker Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez.

The little known striker has been tied down on a two year contract and he will go down in history as the first Brazilian to play in the Uganda premier league.

He has in the past played for Sao Caetano, Santo Andre, Rio Branco among others in his native Brazil.

He has also played in Malaysia, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

He is expected to bolster Vipers’ striking department that has Yunus Sentamu, Abubakar Lawal, Karim Ndugwa and Cromwell Rwothomio.
