Coach Isabirye reveals how he survived a nasty accident

Vipers SC head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola has survived a nasty accident along Entebbe road.

Isabirye made the revelation via his Twitter account and thanked the doctors for the medical attention.

“Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good. I thank God for the gift of life. I survived an accident as I was returning from Kitende when a double cabin rammed into my car from behind. I thank the doctors for the attention and my recovery.”

The tactician is expected to part ways with Vipers SC whom he led the a Cup double (league title and Uganda Cup respectively) last season.

The achievement saw, Isabirye join Geoff Hudson (SC Villa), Paul Hasule (SC Villa), Polly Ouma (SC Villa), Jimmy Muguwa (Express FC) and Milutin Sredojevic (SC Villa) and Mike Mutebi (KCCA FC) who are the other coaches to have won a Cup double.

Isabirye was recently named the Pilsner UPL coach of the year.

He has previously served at URA FC, Victoria University FC, Soana FC, Busoga United, Kyetume FC, Somalia side Horseed FC and BUL FC.
