The 1st accident, an allegedly dozing Jaguar Bus driver died on spot after he lost control of the vehicle and swerved off the road at Kajubiri near President Museveni’s Kisozi Farm.
The bus overturned multiple times, killing at least 3 passengers on spot along the Mpigi-Kanoni-Sembabule Road.
In the other incident, a Fuso Fighter truck driver also died on spot after he swerved off the road and ended up in a swamp near Myanzi Trading Centre in Kassanda District as he tried to dodge an oncoming bus.
The driver who was also reportedly dozing died on spot together with 3 other truck occupants. Nearly 70 people were left injured following the 2 separate road crashes that happened between 3am-5am on August 13, 2023. As compiled by Daily Monitor’s Brian Adams Kesiime and Enock Matovu
