Sheila Gashumba wants FUFA to consider her father in law for Cranes head coach role

Sheila Gashumba wants her father in law Patrick Kabuye to take over helms at the Uganda National team (Uganda Cranes).

On Thursday, evening FUFA sacked Serbian tactician Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho as Cranes head coach after failing to guide the side to the 2023 AFCON final tournament due in Ivory Coast next year.

Following the departure of Micho, socialite Sheila Gashumba FUFA to appoint Kabuye the father to her cake crusher Rick-man.

“Yes, they should give a chance to a Ugandan coach. I believe Mr. Kabuye Patrick will do a great job, he has a UEFA category A licence that makes him eligible to handle professional European football teams so why not Uganda cranes.” Sheila stated on her social media channels.

This was Micho’s second stint as Uganda Cranes head coach. In his first stint he led the team to the continental showpiece that was held Gabon in 2017.
