Uganda’s Messi joins club that made Napoli’s Kvaradona

SC Villa and Uganda Cranes midfielder Travis Mutyaba has joined Georgian champions Dinamo Tbilisi FC.

Mutyaba has signed a three year contract with the most successful club in Georgia as per FUFA TV’s Sportlight.

Mutyaba has played for the national U15, U17 and U20 teams as well as the senior side The Uganda Cranes.

He also played for Vipers Junior Team in the Juniors League and Synergy Futsal Club in the Futsal Super League.

Mutyaba’s new home is where Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia started his senior career playing at age 16, before departing to Rustavi where he spent half a season.

His new side Dinamo Tbilisi was formed 98 years ago and has won the Georgian Premier League (Erovnuli Liga) a record 18 times.

The club also won 13 Georgian Cups and nine Georgian Super Cup.
