All is set for the royal wedding of the Kyabazinga of Busoga, Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, and the Inhebantu, Jovia Mutesi.
This follows the launch of the royal wedding organizing committee by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Rebecca Kadaga, in Jinja.
Kadaga launched the organising committee for the Busoga Royal wedding at Bugembe Lukiiko on Friday.
Earlier this month, the Busoga Kingdom officially announced that Kyabazinga Nadiope William IV had got the wife to be.
Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Busoga Kingdom Prime Minister confirmed that Jovia Mutesi will be the Inebantu (Queen of Busoga).
Meanwhile, the royal wedding code named “Embage ya mwenemu” will take place on 18th November 2023 at Bugembe cathedral, where His Royal Highness the Kyabazinga of Busoga William Gabula Nadiope the IV will wed the Inebantu Jovia Mutesi.
The organising committee includes government ministers, business people, and institutional leaders hailing from Busoga region.
Eng. Patrick Batumbya will head the organising committee for the Royal wedding.
Fundraising for the glamorous event that is expected to attract several dignatries has already started as well with over Shs300m collected.
