Express FC and Mbarara City played out to a barren stalemate in their Uganda Premier league game on Saturday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
After the game, Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool rewarded Express FC players with Shs2M in appreciation for their performances.
On the same day, Bebe Cool’s son Alpha Thierry Ssali made his debut for the seven time Uganda Premier league champions.
This website also understands that Bebe Cool also played a key role in Allan Kayiwa’s stay at the club by paid part of the player’s sign on fee.
This was Express FC’s first game in the 2023/24 season and Bebe Cool together with his wife Zuena were in attendance.
In their second league game, they will face off with Busoga United in Jinja next week.
