Spark TV’s popular Koona show host Ibrah K Mukasa, has been notably absent from the screens in recent weeks replaced by the enthusiastic Kheem GK but reports claim he resigned and reportedly relocated to Canada.
According to Mbu, behind Ibrah’s sudden absence lies a remarkable story of adventure and ambition as sources have confirmed that Mukasa, just like the renowned Faridah Nakazibwe, has quietly bid farewell to his role at the Serena-based TV station.
But what sets his journey apart is his relocation to the land of maple syrup and endless opportunities, Canada.
Ibrah’s move to Canada wasn’t just a change of scenery; it was a leap towards greener pastures and a better quality of life for his family. The Ugandan journalist now joins a growing list of media personalities who have ventured beyond their home country’s borders in pursuit of new horizons.
It’s worth noting that back in April, Ibrah K Mukasa had made headlines by revealing in a YouTube interview with Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa that he had relocated to the USA, only to change his mind shortly afterward. This time, however, it appears that his decision to call Canada home is firm, and he won’t be returning to the Ugandan screens anytime soon.
He will join a long list of prominent radio and TV Presenters who departed for greener pastures in the USA and Canada such as Patrico Mujuuka, Wycliffe Luyombya, Dikteta Mark, Selector Williams Mukisa Sserwadda, Flavia Namulindwa,Isaac Kawalya among others.
