Netumala tubakwatako bwe paba” Magogo warns fans who beat Referee

Man Jose Kayima

FUFA President Moses Magogo has condemned the acts of hooliganism that happened after the game between UPDF FC and Express FC on Friday in Bombo.

Assistant Referee Fahad Sekayuba was beaten by allegedly Express FC fans following the 1-1 draw.

The incident has led to the suspension of all games that involve Express FC with immediate effect.

“I condemn in the strongest terms acts of hooliganism within and about the football events.

_There is no reason whatsoever that warrants any person to be harmed by another over football decisions.”

“As the well-intended football family, we will not accept such barbaric acts.”

“Netumala tubakwatako bwe paba”, these will live to tell the others.

“As FUFA with the support of the authorities, we shall do everything in our means to find the perpetrators of these acts and they will face the long arm of the law to its full details.” Said Magogo.

Our greatest sympathies with referees particularly Mr. Sekayuba Fahad and Batte Dennis
