New Cranes head coach to work with five other people from Belgium

The new Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Joseph Put will work with five other people from Belgium.

Put was unveiled on Thursday at press briefing held at FUFA House in Mengo and the Belgian tactician replaces Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho who was sacked in September.

He put on paper a two year employment contract renewable basing on his performances.

“This time, we have allowed the coach to appoint his own backroom staff and he is coming with five other people from Belgium. However, there will be Ugandans who will work as part of the backroom staff.” Said FUFA President Moses Magogo

Put will work with five other people from Belgium and a Ugandan who will be named when the Cranes team for the forthcoming World Cup Qualifiers games is summoned.

Sven De Wilde has been named as the Performance Manager while Mathieu Denis is the Physical Fitness Coach.

Gery Osste is the Goalkeeping Coach while Martin Michiel will work as the Physiotherapist.

Jelle Sevenhant will serve as the Video analyst.
