Put names Cranes final squad for World Cup Qualifiers

Uganda Cranes head coach Paul Put has named the final squad for the forthcoming World Cup Qualifier matches against Somalia and Guinea.

The Belgian revealed a final team of 27 players that will be in contention for the two games.

Last week, he summoned a provisional squad of 36 players.

Meanwhile, the local based players will travel to Morocco on Sunday with the foreign based joining from their respective clubs.

The Cranes will kickoff their 2026 World Cup Qualification campaign against Guinea and Somalia on 17th and 21st November 2023 respectively.
Both games are be played in Morocco.

Uganda is in Group G alongside Algeria, Guinea, Botswana, Mozambique and Somalia.
