Uganda Dance Sport Federation confirms dates for National Youth Capacity Building Camp

Uganda Dance sport Federation (UDSF) has confirmed the dates for the 2nd Annual Capacity Building Camp. The event will take place from January 10th-14th, 2024 at Nyakasura School in Fort Portal Tourism City, Tooro Kingdom, Uganda.

The camp aims to promote talent development, environmental protection, and sustainability objectives.

The theme for camp is “Dance Green, Protect Environment”, which highlights our commitment to raising awareness about the importance of environmental protection.

UDSF launched the 1st Capacity Building Camp awareness campaign at St Julian High School Gayaza. This Campaign is going to move in different schools in all regions of Uganda. So get set, we may be at your school.

Seven schools so far have confirmed their participation in the next year’s edition include St Lawrence Crown city, Elite High school Entebbe, Nyakasura school, Busoga College Mweri , Mukono High School ,St Noa Nawagali ss and St Julian High School Gayaza .

Dance sport capacity Building Camp 2024 registration is going on for students aged 7-23 and games teachers. Breaking, popping, Afro Hip -hop and Ballroom.

Courses in judging, Micing, DJing, coaching and Dance sport journalism, tourism and environmental conservation programs.

At the camp, UDSF will address critical issues such as deforestation caused by charcoal burners and air pollution caused by cars. The federation will work to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection.

Over 420 students and 120 physical education teachers are expected to attend with UDSF hoping that the event will be impactful.

The camp will culminate in a high-energy Dance Sport event that is sure to engage the public audience of Fort Portal City.
