Gaddafi FC bolster their squad with two more players

Gaddafi FC have signed Buddu captain Ayman Twaha alias Toure and Wakiso Giants defender Bashir Asiku.

Ayman who can play as a midfielder and a central defender joins David Mutono coached side on a one year employment contract.

He has been featuring for Edgars Football Club and previously played for Bugerere Ssaza team in the prestigious Masaza Cup tournament.

Last year, he was Buddu Ssaza team captain as they finished fourth in competition.

Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants defender Bashir Asiku has also completed a move to Gaddafi FC.

Asiku has put pen to paper on a short term employment contract with Gaddafi FC and leaves Wakiso Giants after just months.

He joined the Purple Sharks in August last year but his time was interrupted by a five-game suspension in the first round when he was found guilty of attacking match officials during a match against URA in October.

The former Vipers SC defender is expected to bolster the club’s defensive department that also has new recruit Hassan Musana.

Asiku is a former St. Mary’s Kitende student who has previously featured for the national U17 and U20 teams.

Gaddafi have already signed Ivan Sserubiru, Hassan Musana, Rogers Kiwanuka and Jackson Wabuleta this transfer window.

Players Ibrahim Kiyemba, Benson Muhindo and Johnson Odong have left the Jinja based side.

Gaddafi will begin their second round campaign against URA FC on Friday, 2nd February. They finished the first round in 13th position with 16 points.
